How many people can stay?

There’s room for two adults. If you have very small children and can squeeze in you’re welcome to do so.

Are you dog friendly?

We are! In fact, we run Dog Friendly Cornwall, so check out our website http://www.dogfriendlycornwall.co.uk for inspiration of things to do. The apartment is small, so not ideal for more than two or three dogs, and also some dogs can get over the Cornish hedge into the field behind, so be aware of that!

Do you provide towels?

We provide two bath towels and two hand towels. It’s a good idea to bring your own beach towels.

Is there a parking space?

There is one designated parking space on the drive next to the Snug. Let us know if you need more space as we can arrange this.

Is there a pub / cafe nearby?

We recently saved our village pub, so you can enjoy food and drink at the pub which is a very short stroll away. There is also Gwella Dairy 5 minutes away which offers award-winning ice cream as well as tea, coffee and drinks. Another new addition is Flora cafe at Trelowarren as well as the Cornish Food Hub at Trevassack Lake which does a wonderful breakfast and brunch. These places are about two minutes drive away. The Ship Inn in Mawgan is a lovely restaurant a short drive away and you can also try the Shipwrights Arms in nearby Helford. We can recommend lots of other local eateries and a caterer who makes lovely picnics and offers a private chef service. There’s also a small kitchen area in the snug.

Is the accommodaton accessible?

There is level access from the parking space right outside the apartment. However, there is a small step into the apartment and the bathroom doesn’t have turning space for a wheelchair. It is good for individuals who have mobility impairment but do not use a wheelchair. Our team are trained in autism awareness and work with individuals with learning disabilities, hearing and vision impairment. If we can improve your experience, please let us know.
